Cottage and barn, Soulby, Cumbria

These two are on the market separately but I've lumped them back together to make a more interesting proposition, perhaps as a two-family project?
Former farm Barney Scar includes a good-sized, three-bedroomed cottage with two reception rooms, farmhouse kitchen (with a Rayburn) and stone-shelved dairy. There's a garden, garage and outbuildings included in the guide price of £199k and the house needs renovating.
Attached to it, with a guide price of £119k, is a large, stone and slate barn with planning permission to turn it into a three-bedroomed house overlooking the beck. Attached to that, and included in the barn sale, is a big, brick-built byre, plus three stone outhouses. Pictured above, from left to right, is the house, the barn and the byre - all overlooking Scandal Beck. Below is a picture of the house.
So potentially, two good-sized houses, a possible bungalow, gardens, courtyard, fishing rights and lovely views in an Upper Eden Valley village all for around £318k.
It's on the market through Penrith Farmers and Kidd's. However, their website doesn't allow direct links to property details (boo!), so you'll need to search their site: http://www.pfandk.co.uk/
