Cottage, Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire
Sweet little former gate house with over an acre of land (up to three acres available). Pricey at offers over £125k (that's what chucking in planning permission does - bumps up the potential bunce but reduces the likelihood of a quick sale to a do-upper). The plans themselves are nice, assuming that's the house you want to build.
The listed, stone-built lodge dates from the early 1800s and comes with 1.44 acres and potential to buy more land. It's part of the sale of the rambling and lovely Pittrichie Estate, parcelled up into around a dozen lots; four of which have already sold.
The estate is at Oldmeldrum, around ten miles north-west of Aberdeen. It's on the market through Rettie, more details here.
