Cottage, Plump Hill, Gloucestershire

I think it's the name with this one - Plump Hill. Plump Hill! It just sounds so...Darling Buds in May, and Enid Blyton, and buttoned-up midwives on bicycles.
Plump Hill is a huddle of homes close to the Gloucestershire village of Mitcheldean and the Forest of Dean. The magic of Google tells me it's big enough to have an environmental centre, a recording studio, and a Ceilidh band - so, go Plump Hill!
For sale is this two-bedroomed, detached, run-down and dated sweetie. The house needs a full renovation job and the bathroom's downstairs. But there's Rayburn in the kitchen and the location is lovely, with stunning open views over the surrounding countryside.
I couldn't resist this photo of the garden - don't you just want to leap in and start chopping your way to that view?!

The cottage is on the market at £125k, through Steve Gooch. Details and more pix here.
