Cottage, Wortwell, Norfolk

On the upper price range for 'Wreck', and more tired than wrecked, but SO pretty and with bags of land.
Detached, three/four bedroom cottage in the village of Wortwell, about three miles from Harleston and close to the A143.
Grade II listed, dating from the 17th century, with timber frame and a thatched roof (spiders and mice come and play...).
Downstairs is a bit of jumble of four reception rooms, small kitchen, walk-in pantry, tiny bathroom and loo. The sitting room (below) is a good size but you'll probably want to fiddle with the rest of the layout.

(Incidently, am I alone in having completely fallen in love with that rug in the dining room?!)
Upstairs are three decent-sized bedrooms and a small fourth bedroom that could make a bathroom or en-suite.
Outside is a chunky half-acre of garden land looking across fields, plus the option to buy a further threequarters of an acre. To see what that looks like, spot the house at the back of this pic!

It's on the market through Musker McIntyre with a guide price of £249,950 but Zoopla notes that was dropped to £245k on May 17th. More details here and pdf here.
