Houses with land: Suffolk, Bedfordshire

I've been working on the allotment this weekend. It's made me think about wrecks with land. Here are two - but you'll need to move quickly on them!
White Cottage, pictured above, had a deadline for offers last week. It's currently under offer but not sold.
The property, in Worlingworth, Suffolk, is detached, Grade II Listed, and derelict - and comes with 1.5 acres of (overgrown) land:

The thatched cottage was abandoned in the 1980s. I found this link to a previous owner, the widow Anna Beart, who died without heirs in 1951, but I couldn't find anything on later owners. It's on the National Heritage "at risk" register.
It has five bedrooms, bathroom and two reception rooms and is on the market through Jackson-Stopps with a guide price of £175k. Details here.
Next up is this farmhouse and former riding school near Flitwick, in Bedfordshire, suggested by Wreck reader Emily. It's up for auction tomorrow (July 3rd), through Network Auctions, with a guide price of £550-£600k.

It's a BIG place. A four-bedroom, Grade II-Listed farmhouse (needing modernising); stable yard and stabling for 18 horses; outbuildings including two barns One timber-framed (pic below) and ripe for conversion. Plus a whopping 34.8 acres of land!

Warren Farm is being auctioned on behalf of the Highways Agency. More details here and pdf details here.
