Three Welsh country cottages

I'm developing a bit of thing for Wales.
I used to have a thing for Scotland - particularly the western islands, but getting there can be a bit of a marathon trek from the Midlands. Wales, on the other hand, is reachable in half a day.
Plus property prices are still pretty affordable. As illustration of that point, here are three Welsh lovelies.
The farmhouse above is in countryside a couple of miles from Carmarthen.
At £270k it may not sound affordable but that price includes the four-bed (ish) farmhouse, a massive 4,400sq ft of stone outbuildings and almost 11 acres of land (!) - part of which borders a stream.

Inside is a bit of a mess and has that sad, recently-abandoned look.

But there are some nice original features and the bathroom is upstairs - always a bonus in an old house.
It's on the market through Evans Brothers, details and more pix here and here.
No 2 Little Gilfach Cottages, below, is in Powys and is up for auction through Allsops on September 18th.

No internal pix in the auction catalogue unfortunately but the views outside are lovely:

There's a lounge and kitchen downstairs, two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Outside is a small garden.
The cottage has an auction guide price of £60k-£65k. It's Lot 191 in the catalogue here, pdf details here.
Finally, the three-bed detached below is in the village of Llanafan, about 10 miles from Aberystwyth.

Not the prettiest of "wrecks" inside (and a downstairs shower room) but a good-sized property for the money and in a good location.

It's on the market through John Francis at offers around £150k. Details and more pix here.
