House with stables, Cambridgeshire

Keith and Hazel tipped me off about this rural, er, gem...
On the edge of the village of Three Holes, about eight miles from Wisbech, the three-bed detached property comes with stables, paddocks and around 1.5 acres of land. And a fair bit of work to do.
As Keith wrote:
This really does fit the ideal description of 'wreck of the week'...We are not sure if the kitchen is to die for or die in.
Here's that kitchen:

Agents Rural Scene describe the property as "for improvement" and mention its 1930s build based on an Ideal Home Exhibition design. But it's also up for sale on ruralandequestrian.com who describe it as needing total refurbishment, including "new windows, doors, gutters etc., maintenance work to the roof, rendering needs replacing or patching plus other work as seen..."*
The house has hall, dining room, lounge and kitchen downstairs; three bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. Oil-fired central heating.
Outside is a garden area and three overgrown paddocks; a timber barn, feed room and stable block - some of which need repairing or replacing.

Access is via a private drive off a country lane and the location, plus the land means that - so long as the survey isn't silly scary - there's potential here.

The property is on the market via Rural Scene with a guide price of £220k, details and more pix here. And also listed on Rural and Equestrian at offers over £200k - here.

* After posting this, Gill emailed me. She'd previously viewed the property and had this to say:
what they don't mention on the info...is that it was built with no foundations, so has sunk/or could still be sinking and has many, many subsidence cracks. You can get it underpinned but the cost of the explorations to establish what is required to do so is a fair lump of money before you start on the house..
