Two farmhouses - Devon and Lancashire

Couple of farmhouses with barns to show you today. On the pricey side but good-looking buildings in great locations.
Pictured above and below is New Troughgate Farm at Bacup, Rossdendale, sent to me by reader Liz.

The three-bedroom farmhouse comes with attached stone barn, separate garage and a big garden.
All a bit of mess and in need of rather more than a clean-up and some TLC, but lots of potential to reconfigure and refurbish.
On the market through Farrow and Farrow at £250k, details and more pictures here.
David sent me this handsome Devon home, below, at Hatherleigh.

Crosspark has three bedrooms and, as with the Rossendale house, an upstairs bathroom (always a plus), with kitchen and two reception rooms downstairs.
Outside is a barn, garage (annexed to house), stores and large garden. In all you get around five acres of land, including paddock and woodland.

Lovely countryside location but close enough to the Hatherleigh and Okehampton to not feel isolated, with Exeter 33 miles away.
On the market through Strutt and Parker at offers around £325k. Details and more pictures here and here.
